The ROCHE collection aims to illustrate humanity's power over the environment. Our constant pursuit of progress has caused us to lose our fundamental understanding of the earth and become disconnected from it.
The rock, which witnessed the birth of humanity, symbolizes the sacred nature of totems and monoliths in ancient times, evocative of forces and beliefs. Today, that same rock symbolizes both beautiful and destructive architecture.
This series attempts to emphasize the essential connection that we have with the planet Earth that hosts us - for a short period of time - and the beauty it can offer us if we (re)pay more attention to it.
